An opportunity has arisen for a committed person to take over the established role of Marriage & Family Life Co-ordinator for the Diocese of East Anglia

The role includes -:

* Coordinating & supporting Marriage Preparation within the Diocese
* Delivering area based marriage preparation sessions
* Organisation of the Annual Marriage Celebration Mass
* Quarterly meetings of the Marriage & Family Life Commission
* Liaison with other Diocesan Commissions & Organisations
* Maintaining the MFL Diocesan Webpages
* Developing resources to support parents within schools and parishes
* Writing reports for various agencies as required

Strategic thinking, planning, and identification of funding sources will be key to enable the development of proposals to continue the Diocesan commitment to Marriage & Family Life, building on evaluation of work done. Able to work on their own initiative, the successful candidate will serve the entire diocese, necessitating some travel and occasional weekend/evening work.

Home based, 20 hours per week
Possible job share between 2 if desired
Support provided by the diocese and the national network of Family Ministry Workers
Remuneration: £13 per hour + expenses
Annual leave: 5 weeks + Public Holidays
